In the face of increasing criticism from his supporters, President Donald Trump has directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce "any and all" grand jury testimony related to the sex trafficking case against Jeffrey Epstein.

"Based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to court approval. This SCAM perpetrated by the Democrats should end, right now! ," Trump posted on Truth Social Thursday night.

Bondi promptly replied to Trump's request, posting on X: "President Trump-we are ready to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts." At this point, it is uncertain what information could be revealed from any unsealed grand jury testimony, but Trump has been eager to close the Epstein case after the Department of Justice stated last week in an unsigned memo that there is no supposed Epstein "client list". The memo also stated that the DOJ would not be releasing any further evidence in the sex trafficking case against Epstein.

On Wednesday, Trump criticised many of his supporters who have refused to let the matter go, labelling them "weaklings' and accusing them of falling for what he is now referring to as the Epstein "hoax. "", reports the Mirror US.

"Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this "bull--," hook, line, and sinker," Trump posted on Wednesday via his Truth Social platform, including a profanity in his message. "They haven't learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.

"Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don't even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don't want their support anymore!" he continued. No evidence exists that former Democratic officials interfered with the documents or had any involvement in promoting conspiracy theories about the files, which Trump administration members had fuelled for years.

Trump's language on this matter represents an unprecedented tone regarding his own supporters. Whilst Trump has previously disagreed with his support base on various issues, it has never been with such intensity.

The divide revolves around the administration's management of documents concerning Epstein, who was discovered dead in his New York prison cell in August 2019, weeks following his arrest on sex trafficking allegations. Bondi had earlier stated upon assuming office that the "client list" was "on her desk" which likely explains why frustration over the unsigned memorandum has been primarily aimed at her.
