If like me you've been dying to play Black Myth Wukong, but don't want to pay the full asking price, then you'll be pleased to hear the game has finally been given a discount on the PlayStation Store.

One of the surprise hits of 2024, Black Myth Wukong went down a storm with gaming fans, who have been singing its praises on storefronts like Steam.

Indeed, the game currently has a massive 96% positive approval rating on the Steam website.

If you want to play the highly rated action game on PS5, then the good news is that Black Myth Wukong is reduced to £43.99 as part of Sony's PSN Mid Year Deals sale.

Black Myth Wukong is as an action RPG that has its roots in Chinese mythology. It's based on Journey to the West, which is described as "one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature".

"You shall set out as the Destined One to venture into the challenges and marvels ahead, to uncover the obscured truth beneath the veil of a glorious legend from the past.

"As the Destined One, you will encounter powerful foes and worthy rivals throughout your journey. Fearlessly engage them in epic battles where surrender is not an option."

Despite launching last August, Black Myth Wukong has rarely received any discounts, especially on PlayStation.

You can actually save even more money by purchasing a PlayStation Store top-up card from retailers like CD Keys. For example, you could purchase a £40 PlayStation Store card for just £36.99 and pay the remaining £3.99 to buy the game.

Outside of Black Myth Wukong, the PlayStation Mid-Year Deals sale features discounts on the likes of Forza Horizon 5, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Black Ops 6 and EA Sports FC 25.

The Forza Horizon 5 Deluxe Edition is reduced by 20%, which means you can pick it up for £55.99. The Deluxe Edition comes with the base game and the Car Pack, which adds lots of new vehicles to the game.

The Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Gold Edition is down to £59.99, or £55.99 with PS Plus. 

There are some great deals for Mortal Kombat fans, as MK1 Definitive Edition is down to £21.99, while the Khaos Reigns expansion is reduced to £13.19.
