Ruben Amorim is a head coach entering the new season under immediate pressure, so Manchester United have been handed a nightmare first five 2025/26 Premier League fixtures. The Red Devils face a tall order from the opening weekend when Arsenal visit Old Trafford. A visit to Manchester City is set for match four before a home clash against Chelsea in week five.

In between the meetings with Arsenal and Man City, United travel to Fulham and host Burnley in slightly more forgiving fixtures. The M16 giants' Christmas match is against Newcastle United at Old Trafford on December 27. They will kick off 2026 with a bang on January 3 for what will be a tranquil afternoon at Elland Road against hosts Leeds United (not).

October 18 is the date of United's trip to Anfield to face champions Liverpool, with the return fixture scheduled for May 2 as part of the run-in.

Amorim's side will then finish the Premier League season with a home clash against Nottingham Forest in between away games at Sunderland and Brighton and Hove Albion.
