The Rolling Stones may be entering their eighties, but the rock and roll legends show no sign of retiring anytime soon.

It’s been three years since Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood last performed live in the UK to mark 60 years of the band.

Then, in 2023, they released their No. 1 Hackney Diamonds album and went on a US tour last year in support of it.

UK and European dates were supposed to be booked in for this summer, however a new report claims the Rolling Stones have cancelled the tour leg.

Instead, they’ve been secretly recording their 25th studio album at London’s Metropolis Studios.

According to The Sun’s insider: “Mick, Keith and Ronnie have been secretly recording their new record with their drummer Steve Jordan. They’ve got 13 songs they’re happy with and they are discussing when they can release it. Originally, the plan was for them to bring their huge US tour to the UK and Europe this summer but promoters couldn’t get the dates to work. Instead the Stones decided to get back into the studio and put down their next album. It’s massive for their fans who didn’t get a chance to see them live this year.”

Watch this space, folks.
