Former Bond girl Denise Richards has revealed she would love to return to the world of 007 as a villain in the next film. The actress, 54, appeared in 1999’s The World Is Not Enough as nuclear scientist Christmas Jones opposite Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.

But with Amazon taking over the franchise, Denise has revealed she would love to return in its 26th movie as a baddie opposing the next star chosen for the role, after Daniel Craig made his final appearance in No Time To Die four years ago. She said: “I would like to return in some guise to the 007 universe again, of course. I would love to come back as a villain.

"It is such an iconic movie franchise. I am so honoured I am a Bond girl.

"And everyone knows you are forever a Bond girl once you have been a Bond girl.

Denise said of the successor to Daniel, 57: “I don’t even know who they’re thinking about.

"But I know everyone’s very excited to see who is going to play the next Bond.

"I am sure he’ll be fabulous."

Denise spoke as she was honoured at the The Jonathan Foundation’s 11th Annual Spring Fundraiser in Los Angeles for her charity work for children and animals.
