King Charles is a busy man as monarch, carrying out a number of royal engagements each year both inside and outside of the UK. When he has some time away from royal duty, the King, 76, is known for spending time at a number of his royal estates, whether that be Windsor Castle, Balmoral Castle or Sandringham.

However, it takes a lot to keep these estates up and running, with the King now looking for more seasonal staff to take on jobs at one of his most famous estates. Known for being the location of the Royal Family’s Christmas celebrations, Sandringham in Norfolk is a very popular estate for royal fans to visit, and is in need of more staff to maintain the high standards it currently has.

On the Sandringham Estate website, the estate has put out a recruitment call for more people to join the team as seasonal staff.

At the moment, staff are needed for different roles in catering, which includes working in either the kitchens, front of house, and on the afternoon tea service.

While pay has not been specified, there are various hours and shifts available for recruits, who simply need to fill out the application form on the website and email it to the address given here.

Applications will not be accepted after June 30.

While the Royal Family gather at Sandringham famously for Christmas, the King, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, do sometimes spend time at the estate on other occasions.

The monarch is known to spend some weekends at Sandringham, and is sometimes spotted walking to Sunday service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the estate.

He is also believed to enjoy spending time tending to the grounds of Sandringham House.

David Cholmondeley, the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, who is one of the King’s Norfolk neighbours told The Telegraph: “Well, he’s (the King) a wonderful neighbour, and we do meet up sometimes.

“He loves Norfolk and spending quiet time here and planting trees. He never seems to stop."
