Prince Harry has been dubbed "errant" by a royal commentator who said the Duke might realise that he went "too far" when discussing his father, King Charles's health, during his bombshell BBC interview and is now faced with the "consequences" of that decision. The Duke of Sussex appeared in a BBC interview last week after he lost a High Court appeal regarding his downgraded security in the UK.

Harry made various sensational claims, saying he does not know how "much time [King Charles] has left" following his cancer diagnosis, that some of his family will not forgive him for writing Spare and that he wants to reconcile with them. But royal expert Jennie Bond described his move as a step "too far", telling the Mirror: "I suspect that Harry said more than he had perhaps intended because he was consumed with anger that the court decision had gone against him. That is rarely the best time to air your thoughts. I think he might now realise that he went too far in talking about his father’s health."

Ms Bond added regarding the Royal Family's united appearance at the VE Day celebrations this week: "Despite their disappointment – and anger – over Harry’s interview, the Royal Family did what they do best at the VE Day commemorations. We saw a family which, without Harry, is very much in harmony, working together and with the three children beginning to learn the ropes of royal duties. Therein lies the continuity of monarchy, with or without the errant brother."
