Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez have issued a major announcement as they're set to work together once again. The Hollyoaks actress, 40, first encountered the professional dancer, 35, during her stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017. Gorka and Gemma revealed their engagement on Valentine's Day in 2021, having already become parents to daughter Mia two years prior. The duo have since welcomed son Thiago but haven't yet managed to walk down the aisle amidst their hectic schedules, reports the Mirror.

It appears life is about to become even more frantic for the couple as they've unveiled their brand new podcast venture, Lost in Translation. Gemma and Gorka are preparing to reveal intimate details about their daily existence whilst balancing parenthood and demanding careers.

The pair face additional challenges due to linguistic and cultural barriers, which occasionally leads to disagreements. They're also planning to support others facing comparable circumstances by providing guidance to their audience.

Following the reveal, Gorka commented: "Gemma and I are different, but that's what makes us work.

"We bicker, we laugh, and we always find a way through. We hope Lost in Translation makes people feel less alone in their own relationship dilemmas and brings a smile to their faces."

Gemma Atkinson has revealed: "We wanted to create something really authentic that parents and couples can relate to. Life with two kids and conflicting schedules is always an adventure, and Gorka and I definitely have our moments!".

"We've already had huge success with Gemma's Overshare podcast, and this feels like the next stage in her podcasting journey - I can't wait to see where it goes."

The podcast will debut on 22 October.

In other news, Gemma hinted last week that she and Gorka might be nearing a decision on their wedding date. Despite previous hesitations about marrying without her late father present to walk her down the aisle, it seems the sound of wedding bells may be imminent following a change of heart.

Gemma elaborated: "We've toyed about doing it in Spain, so his family can come, and we've even thought about doing it in a registry office or a hotel in Manchester, just the two of us, and then have a big party after.

"But I think now we want to wait until Thiago is a bit older, so maybe next year or the year after, as he's only two. If he's a bit older, he could be involved in it, which would be really nice," she revealed to The Express.
