The location of Europe's most expensive sun lounger rental price, which can cost holidaymakers up to a shocking £1000 a day, has been revealed. Sun lounger wars are typically part of nearly every traveller's holiday experience, where eager sun-seekers will rush to claim a pool chair despite not being ready to use it.
However, for the loungers dotted around this holiday spot, which has welcomed big names, including Michael Jackson, Julio Iglesias, and Elton John, sun lounger wars are likely to be the last thing that visitors will have to worry about.
Over in Costa Del Sol, Club La Cabane, a luxury and vibrant beach club, renting a day bed can cost holidaymakers up to €1,200, equivalent to just under £1036.
The popular resort is part of the Kimpton Los Monteros, a five-star hotel located in Marbella and has loungers and parasols furnished with beautiful Dolce & Gabbana prints.
Each bed at Club La Cabane can typically fit up to three people, and prices vary depending on which areas you plan to lounge in. According to the Daily Mail, which placed the loungers as Europe's most expensive, those near the shoreline or closer to the swimming pool are more expensive.
While the cost is definitely on the more extravagant side, holidaymakers can make use of the €190 VIP Balinese bed that fits two people and includes a bottle of Champagne, a fruit platter, and cooling towels in the price.
Additionally, the beach club is open daily for dinner during the summer months. Guests can enjoy food from an exclusively designed menu while admiring the gorgeous view ahead.
La Cabane, the club restaurant, has an impressive four-star rating out of five on TripAdvisor, where diners have described it as a gem, branding the spot as perfect.
One person wrote: "Just perfect in every way. Been coming to Costa Del Sol for over 30 years and have never heard of La Cabane before. What a gem to find. Setting is magical, staff are amazing and food is just wonderful full of flavour.
"Will definitely be back and highly recommend for an exquisite night out. This is not just a meal it's a full immersive experience, the sound of the waves combined with the music just magical."
