Katie Price has addressed speculation surrounding a supposed feud with her daughter Princess Andre. The glamour model and her daughter Princess, 18, were allegedly caught up in a dispute after Katie, 47, was excluded from filming Princess' reality programme, The Princess Diaries, which broadcasts this Sunday. Katie has now maintained there's no animosity between herself and her daughter, though admits she feels "very, very upset" about one particular matter.

On her latest podcast episode, The Katie Price Show – entitled The Truth Behind Princess Diaries, Katie criticises Princess' representatives for not "allowing" the TV figure to be present to support and mentor her daughter as she navigates the entertainment industry. The podcast also revealed that Katie's representatives volunteered for her to participate in the reality series 'for free' as the celebrity 'didn't want to use the opportunity to raise her profile' but the production firm reportedly declined, reports the Mirror.

Speaking on the podcast, she declares: "There's been all of these rumours that there's a rift between me and Princess. There is absolutely no rift between me and Princess. Me and Princess have never, ever, ever had an argument to this day - or a disagreement. We get on like best friends, mother and daughter. Princess lives with me and she stays at her dad's. She's been staying at her dad's the past two months because she's been filming her show. Our personal life together is amazing."

She reveals how she feels "very, very upset" that Princess' career is being handled by her former husband Peter Andre's management team, claiming she's being excluded from decisions.

Katie describes how her previous management firm, The CAN Group, are now overseeing Princess' career, despite her earlier objections.

Katie was represented by The CAN Group during her relationship with Peter, but connections were cut between the former glamour model and the management company following their 2009 separation.

During the podcast episode, she elaborates: "I've always said, over my dead body would I ever want her to manage my kids because she doesn't like me and Pete and me don't talk. I am very, very, very upset that Princess has signed with them when she was 16. I wasn't asked to look at any contracts so I don't know what Princess has signed because it's all to do with that side."

Mother-of-five Katie, who shares Junior and Princess with her former husband Peter, says she feels "very disrespected" as a parent by the decision.

She continued: "But now she's managing Princess and Junior, out of my control, I want the best for Junior and Princess, always, and I will never get in the way of it. But what hurts my feelings – and it does upset me – is when your kids grow up, you go to their assemblies, you go to their Christmas things, you go to their awards, you know, you go to their football matches or their gymnastics, you're involved in everything they do and knowing that what my career has been, Princess is taking that same path – trying to do the same as what I've done – which I absolutely love and adore of Princess but I had not been allowed to go on any photoshoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I'm not allowed and I'm not welcome."

Katie went on to reveal she had discussed her wounded feelings with Princess, but claims her management won't permit Princess to pursue career opportunities because "they think I'm trash".

She adds: "Everyone knows she's my daughter so what difference does it make?"

Katie added that she considers it an "insult" that she hasn't been permitted to be present to help mentor the 18 year old. In a candid moment during the podcast, Katie opened up about being excluded from her daughter's 18th birthday party – an event she missed as she flew to Ibiza while her daughter marked the occasion with her father Peter.

Katie has since explained that she chose the getaway to avoid having it "rubbed in her face" that she wasn't welcome at her daughter's festivities. She elaborated: "The reason is because Pete doesn't want to be in the same room as me because I'm his ex. Well, we need to have some home truths here; when the kids get older and they get married is he still going to have the same attitude that only one parent can be there because I disagree."
