Yellowstone star Josh Lucas has married his weather presenter fiancée Brianna Ruffalo in a beautiful ceremony in a very special location.

The pair took to Instagram after saying their vows in the Vatican City, sharing some gorgeous photos of the happy occasion outside the iconic St Peter’s Basilica.

Lucas, 54, known for portraying a younger version of Kevin Costner’s character Josh Dutton in the hit Paramount Network drama, was beaming next to his bride, 34.

Ruffalo, a weather presenter for ABC7 in Los Angeles, wrote in the caption of her post: “Mr. and Mrs.

“Incredibly blessed to receive this sacrament together inside the heart of the Catholic Church and holy city.”

In the comments, Lucas posted a sweet reply: “I love you! Easily one of the greatest days of my life. I am so so grateful.”

His wife went on to pay tribute to everyone who helped set up the ceremony in the Vatican, which exclusively holds weddings for Catholic couples.

“I am so thankful for Father Winters at the parish I grew up in, and Sister Angelica at the archdiocese of Los Angeles- as well as several others within the archdiocese,” she said.

“We also absolutely couldn’t have done this without our stellar wedding planning team who coordinated with the Vatican. Thank you for making our wedding day so beautiful and easy.”

Down in the comments of the post, the newlyweds received a wave of support from their social media followers, including a number of recognisable names.

Actor Walton Goggins, who recently starred with Lucas in the sports biopic Queen of the Ring, replied: “Congratulations my friend. This is the good stuff.”

Allison Janney, who worked with the actor on the Apple TV+ drama Palm Royale, added “Congratulations!!”, with heart and champagne emojis.

Fellow actor Matt Nolan wrote: “Congratulations Josh and Brianna. What a beautiful Wedding, so very happy for you both.”

Support continued to flow in from Ruffalo’s fans and colleagues, including ABC7’s entertainment reporter George Pennacchio who wrote: “Congratulations! What a great place to say ‘I do!’ with the one you love.”

While a fan commented: “May God always keep you and bless you both and your marriage! Congratulations.”

In addition to his memorable Yellowstone role, Lucas is known for films such as the Reese Witherspoon-led rom-com Sweet Home Alabama and racing biopic Ford v Ferrari.

He’ll next be appearing in the romantic drama The Map That Leads to You, historical crime thriller By Any Means and coming-of-age comedy The Marshmallow Experiment.
