Jane Seymour has revealed how she has managed to stay slim at the age of 74. The former Bond girl follows a very simple rule when it comes to her diet, confessing that she doesn't eat three main meals a day in order to maintain her physique. Speakinf to the Mail Online the actress revealed that she only eats one main meal per day, at around 1:30pm. She admitted: "I start the day with coffee and hard boiled eggs for protein, and it isn't till later, around lunch time, that I have a full meal because then I can really enjoy it. I love fish and vegetables, and grow many greens in my back yard which I love to use.
The Dancing with the Stars veteran also commented on the importance of eating fresh food: "I love the Mediterranean way of eating. It works so well and tastes good. It includes a lot of delicious food like tomatoes, olives, and fish."
She also insisted that she does not follow a strict diet, adding: "People ask me if I have a cheat day with my diet and I respond that I am never on a diet, I just make good choices and stick with them.
"If you think you are on a diet, you will lose track, you will cheat. But if you find healthy foods you really love, that make you feel good, you never feel shorted."
Later during the day, Jane will eat snacks such as cold veggies like cucumbers and celery, hummus, and nuts such as pistachios: "I am a savory person, I like the salt."
Jane also previously shared that she practices Pilates and enjoys a glass of wine with dark chocolate. She told the Loose Women panel in 2021: "I am staying home, I'm doing all the right things I'm masked up and not gallivanting around in Hollywood or anything.
"I take walks on the beach, I do Pilates... I try to keep fit and eat healthy, but I'm never on a diet or anything. Everything in moderation works for me.
"Usually I'm up and running like now then I usually forget to eat until midday. My partner David is doing this intermittent fasting so he doesn't eat until 2."
She later continued: "If I get peckish later I will eat a bit of dark chocolate and a glass of wine, that's a meal right?"
