A bride was shot dead and three others were injured when a gang of hooded gunmen opened fire at her wedding.
The joyous occasion turned into a nightmare when four gunmen ambushed the bride and groom as they were leaving around 4.30am on Sunday, June 22. Police rushed to the scene at the Vaucluse venue, in Goult, in the south of France.
One of the attackers was also killed, and three other individuals, including a 13-year-old boy, were injured in the wedding shooting.
Reports suggest that the bride and groom were exiting their car when they were ambushed by the attackers, who arrived in a Golf cart. In a desperate bid to escape the attack, the groom reversed his car, hitting one of the shooters.
French authorities are investigating the shooting and are searching for the three men who fled the scene.
