Motorists faced rush hour chaos this morning following an accident on a major motorway. One lane was closed this morning on the M62 westbound at junction 27 Gildersome after the incident. Traffic cameras showed queues building up in the area.
INRIX says: "Queueing traffic and one lane closed due to accident on M62 Westbound at J27 M621 (Gildersome). The hard shoulder, which usually runs as a live lane, is closed."
