Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently touring Australia but the royal couple have kept some of their planned activities under wraps. Reports have since suggested the Duchess of Sussex, 44, quietly slipped away to film a role on a popular Aussie show.
The couple flew into Melbourne early Tuesday morning and are due to head back to LA from Sydney after wrapping up their activities at the end of the week. So far on their trip Down Under, Meghan took a solo visit to a women's shelter in Melbourne, before rejoining Harry for a meeting with veteran families at the Australian National Veterans' Art Museum. Meghan and Harry were shown different works at the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum.
The couple, who are no longer working royals and are visiting the country in a private capacity, will combine visits to charitable causes, alongside money-making events.
Sources have now claimed the Duchess of Sussex filmed a special guest role on MasterChef Australia during a gap in her and Harry's jam-packed itinerary.
Australian showbiz correspondent, Tom Ford, took to social media where he made the breaking announcement.
He penned: "Breaking; Not actually a day of rest for Meghan. She's been busy filming Masterchef as a guest judge. Not sure if she cooked anything other than a succulent appearance fee!"
Meghan’s publicist has since confirmed to News.com Australia she had appeared as a guest judge.
“As part of her first Australian visit since 2018, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, featured as a guest judge on the country’s most beloved cooking show,” the statement read.
“Meghan mentored and guided our nation’s top home cooks alongside MasterChef Australia judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli.”
