The 44-year-old was pictured in a sweet moment with the little girl, who was also called Lily. Although her name is Princess Lilibet, Meghan and Harry are known to often refer to their daughter as 'Lili'.
As the couple arrived, a crowd of young patients, their families, hospital staff and members of the public had packed in to the building’s main foyer.
Among the Australians welcoming the Sussexes to Melbourne, Lily was spotted with a beautifully decorated homemade sign that read, "Welcome Harry & Meghan".
She was spotted handing Meghan a knitted flower when she stopped to chat, with her mother explaining that her daughter was born the day before Princess Lilibet.
The young royal was born one year after the couple's move to California from the UK on June 4, 2021.
Lilibet and her big brother Prince Archie, six, have not joined their parents on the visit - and have instead remained at their home in Monetcito.
