Brooklyn Beckham is said to have endured further humiliation at his wedding to Nicola Peltz. The chef, 27, and Nicola, 31, exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in 2022 at an opulent mansion belonging to the billionaire heiress's parents. Both the Peltz and Beckham families attended the nuptials, alongside numerous celebrity guests. However, while Brooklyn maintains a strong relationship with his in-laws, he has since become estranged from his own family.
Now, new allegations have emerged surrounding Brooklyn's wedding, involving a succession of uncomfortable mishaps concerning his father. According to The Cut, throughout the ceremony, Brooklyn was referred to by his dad's name on several occasions, including when he and his actress wife were exchanging their vows. A guest alleges that the rabbi conducting the ceremony called Brooklyn "David" during the intimate moment. The source continued to assert that the rabbi was left astonished and "stuttered and asked for forgiveness," before clarifying he was an avid "soccer fan". Nevertheless, he repeated the mistake again before the ceremony concluded.
One witness, according to the publication, characterised it as "uncomfortably Oedipal," with numerous guests present laughing it off. The revelation emerges after Brooklyn was absent from yet another family milestone amidst his feud with his relatives, reports the Mirror.
Meanwhile, it's alleged that Brooklyn will be emulating his family with a tell-all series alongside streaming giant Hulu. A source told The Sun: "Brooklyn is keen. Alongside documenting his culinary business venture, Hulu bosses will hope he will open up about the bombshell rift with his parents.
"This isn't just any platform. Hulu, which is owned by Disney, is home to global smash hits like The Kardashians. They'd be instantly propelled firmly into the big leagues and in direct competition with Netflix, which, of course, has its own Beckham ties, having run authored documentaries by both of his parents."
The source continued, revealing that Brooklyn and Nicola have previously declined interviews, despite receiving offers of "big money". "When they do decide to speak, it will be on their own terms," the source said, adding: "They also want to make it clear they are not being controlled by the Peltz family and that they make their own decisions."
