
Well-loved actress Subashini Balasubramaniyam has sadly passed away at the age of 36, it has been announced. The Tamil TV star was reportedly found dead at her home in Chennai, India, on Tuesday (April 7) by the police, with preliminary reports indicating that she died by suicide. According to reports, authorities have started an investigation into her death, and her body has been sent for a medical examination. Her passing comes days before her 37th birthday on April 12 and shortly ahead of her second wedding anniversary with husband Bibin Chandra. Subashini’s heartbroken husband shared a tribute on social media, writing: “Rest in Peace, My Love, My Bobba. Nobody has ever loved me as much as you did. I haven't loved anyone as much as I love you.
"Today, I can't believe that you are no more. You are filled with all my memories, and you live within me. I feel your presence in everything I see, everything I feel. Why did you leave me?”
Bibin added: “I want to celebrate your Birthday, our anniversary. Go travel all over. I don't exist without you. We dreamt a lot - Our baby, travelling to a new destination every quarter. Go on drives every week, cook together and many more. I want to make more memories.”
The Sri Lankan-bon star, who began her acting career with the 2012 movie Ini Avan, has left her fans in shock, with many expressing their condolences online.
One person penned on her Instagram: “Check on your 'happy' friends. Sometimes, the ones who shine the brightest online are fighting the darkest battles in the shadows.”
Another said: “The world sees the light we give, but only the stars know the weight we carry. May the end of the journey be the beginning of a peace that never fades.”
