
Rapper Offset has been admitted to hospital after being shot outside a casino in Florida. A spokesperson confirmed that the renowned artist was shot on Monday, April 6. A representative for Offset stated: "We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored." The ex-husband of Cardi B was reportedly shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Two individuals have been apprehended by police following the shooting of the 34 year old, reports the Mirror. A spokesperson for the Seminole Police Department revealed two individuals have been detained in relation to the incident and an investigation is ongoing, telling TMZ.com: "We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7pm Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
"Seminole Police were on site immediately, and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure, and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal."

The incident occurred around 2.30am after a dispute allegedly erupted over a dice game.
Offset is the father to three children he shares with his ex-wife Cardi B.
The couple are currently undergoing divorce proceedings after it was disclosed in August 2024 that the pair were separating after nearly seven years of marriage.
