Patrick J. Adams, who used to portray Meghan’s love interest and colleague in legal drama Suits, appeared on Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny Not Fat podcast. The Duchess starred as Rachel Zane in seven seasons of the hugely successful Netflix show which ran from 2011 to 2019.
But she left in 2018 after marrying Prince Harry and moving to Britain.
In a short clip posted on the podcast’s Instagram page, Mr Adams spoke about Meghan and her “impeccable” handwriting and also revealed that he “didn’t get a jam” unlike the host, who did.
The actor said: “You got a jam? I didn't get a jam,” Adams shared as they discussed the subject.
“How was the jam? Be real… We should taste the jam. We should crack it open.”
Ms Hirsch then agreed that she “should have brought it” to the interview.
On April 3, the Duchess responded to her ex-co-star’s “complaint” with a comment: “Jams en route for you @patrickjadams & @sleepinthegardn”.
She also tagged Mr Adams’ wife, Troian Bellisario.
Meghan added: “Hugs to those beautiful babies. Send my love to your mom.”
"Jams en route for you @patrickjadams & @sleepinthegardn," the Duchess of Sussex wrote online in response, tagging her former costar as well as Adams' wife, Troian Bellisario.
