Weather maps show snow over four parts of the UK this Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Two maps include snow falling over northern, western and southern Scotland at 3pm on Easter Sunday (April 5) while part of north west England looks set for a dusting.
That's according to a map generated on Tuesday (March 31) by WX Charts. A second map shows snow clearing from some areas, but depths up to 5cm lingering over high ground in Scotland at 6pm on April 5.
WX Charts' weather maps show a mix of rain and snow over northern Britain on Sunday, with a band of rain moving across the country overnight into Easter Monday. Another map shows temperatures crashing into single figures, with the mercury at 0C or as low as -2C in parts of Scotland even at midday on Sunday.

While a single model by WX Charts shows snow for some, it is important to remember that predicting snow in the UK is tricky in part because our island can see cold air from the Arctic and warmer air pushing up from Africa across mainland Europe.
The Met Office does not mention snow in its latest available forecast, which was issued on Monday (March 30).
Wet and windy weather is expected by the forecaster this Easter Weekend, coming at the end of a "changeable" week.
Wednesday will mainly be cloudy, with bands of rain across northern Scotland moving south and eastwards during the day before easing.
It will be cooler too, with temperatures down a smidgeon on Tuesday’s values, according to the Met Office.
Thursday looks set to be brighter, with a patchy frost possible in the north first thing.

A band of cloud and rain, coupled with stronger winds, is then "likely" to move in across parts of the north and west.
Heading into the Easter Weekend, the Met Office expects conditions to turn more unsettled as low pressure dominates.
Met Office deputy chief meteorologist, Steven Keates, said: "As we head into Good Friday and Easter Saturday, the weather is expected to turn more unsettled, with spells of rain at times, some of which could be heavy.
"This will be followed by sunny spells and showers, with the driest conditions likely towards the southeast of the UK. It is also likely to become windy at times across all areas, particularly in exposed north-western locations.
"While there remains some uncertainty in the detail at this point in time, there is a strong signal for wet and windy conditions to continue into the Easter Weekend."
