Chuck Norris has sadly died at the age of 86, just one week after celebrating his birthday with his friends and family. The legendary actor passed away on Thursday morning (March 20) after a medical emergency in Hawaii. His family shared a touching tribute to the late actor online, which read: "It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning."

They added: "While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and at peace." He was described as a "devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, incredible brother and the heart of our family".

Just one week before his tragic passing, the Walker, Texas Ranger star shared a clip from his big day, where he proved that age is just a number as he showed off his Karate skills in the garden.

He captioned the action-filled clip: "I don't age. I level up. I'm 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young.

"I'm grateful for another year, good health, and the chance to keep doing what I love. Thank you all for being the best fans in the world. Your support through the years has meant more to me than you'll ever know. God bless."
