Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg welcomed their baby boy this week as they shared the sweet news in a joint post on Instagram, alongside three photos of him. The pair announced his arrival to the world as they wrote: "Never felt a love like it. Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg. 16/03/26." Immediately the news of their baby boy's birth alongside the three photos had their fans and friends swooning, including lots of support from Dianne's fellow Strictly Come Dancing co-stars.

The pair haven't spoken too much on how they're finding the early days postpartum as they arrived home after leaving the hospital, but they did head online to make sure that one thing was cleared up about their baby boy. After sharing his name, they prepared themselves that lots of people may say it incorrectly, so they clarified exactly how to pronounce it.

Joe took to Instagram to post a story of his little boy holding onto his fingers as he shared his name once again and wrote: "Bowden Sugg", before adding: "Pronounced Bow like How, not Bow like Row... hopefully that makes sense." It's safe to presume that Joe is referring to when you would row a boat.

The duo have been inundated with support following their exciting news, with Janette Manrara writing: "The best news!!! Congratulations my gorgeous girl. So happy for you and Joe. The most beautiful moments in life are to come."

Amy Dowden added: "Utter perfection. So happy for you both. Welcome baby Bowden! I can't wait for cwtches xxxxx." Neil Jones added: "Honestly congratulations, he's so cute and I can't wait to meet little baby Bowden."

According to baby name website The Bump, his name means "shelter", though it can also symbolise security, new beginnings and ambition." The middle names have family connections on both sides, Mark is the name of Dianne's dad and Richard is the name of Joe's grandfather who had died in 2021.

Joe and Dianne started dating when they were paired up on Strictly as fans fawned over their blossoming romance, they proudly announced last year that they were going to be parents to a little boy as Dianne became the first Strictly professional to dance in the show while knowingly pregnant, something which she said was helping her with her pregnancy.

They've announced the arrival of their little boy themselves after a series of false AI created images emerged claiming that the pair had already given birth, prompting Joe to announce that Dianne was still very much pregnant at the time.
