Peaky Blinders fans will be able to grab themselves a free pint if they're near one of the 10 independent pubs offering up the opportunity to riase a glass to Tommy Shelby to mark the arrival of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man on screens. The hit TV series has been transformed into a film with eager fans waiting to find out what is happening next for Tommy Shelby, but as viewers know, they've spent a lot of their time downing pints in the pub, so now some are offering up the same opportunity.

From Thursday, March 26 to Saturday, March 28, certain locatons will be transforming with 1940s inspired decor and offering limited-edition flat caps for the first lot of people through the door. Those who are keen to attend have been encouraged to wear their finest suits in order to take part. However, there are two ways to get hold of the offer, you have to utter one phrase, and you need to be able to get into one of the pubs, and there are eight cities with the opportunity.

If you can get to one of the pubs and utter the phrase: "By order of the Peaky Blinders", your first drink will be on the house. On Thursday, March 26, the following pubs will offer a free pint from 4pm: The Oxford Arms, 265 Camden High St, Camden, London NW1 7BU, Newington Temple Pub, 8 Newington, Liverpool L1 4ED, and The Angel, 7 Stoney Street, Nottingham NG1 1LG.

On Friday, March 27, from 4pm, you can grab it in the following: Rat & Pidgeon, 33 Back Piccadilly, Manchester M1 1HP, The Athletic Arms, 1-3 Angle Park Terrace, Edinburgh EH11 2JX, Rhythm & Brew Room, 139 Church Street, Blackpool FY1 3NU, The Bull’s Head, 14 St.John’s Square, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 3AJ.

Finally, unsurprisingly, the pubs offering out a free pint on March 28 from midday are all based where the show is set, in Birmingham, where people can go to the following: The Good Intent, 32-33 Great Western Arcade, Birmingham B2 5HU, The Old Crown, High Street, Deritend, Birmingham B12 0LD, and Hare and Hounds, 106 High Street, King’s Heath, Birmingham B14 7JZ.

The Immortal Man is in select cinemas across the UK and Ireland now, and hits Netflix on March 20. Writer and creator Steven Knight even visited The Old Crown in Digbeth, Birmingham, to pour some pints for locals.

The film has been set nearly a decade after the season six finale, with an older Tommy returning from his self-imposed exile to face his son Erasmus who has taken control of the Shelby family's criminal business.

If viewers haven't seen it already in cinemas, they'll finally be able to tune in to watch it from the comfort of their own home as it airs on Netflix today (March 20), before heading to the nearest pub offering up a Shelby-celebratory freebie next week.
