Police are appealing for the public's help to find a missing 13-year-old girl.

Sara was last seen on Friday, March 13, leaving an address on Lighthouse Road in Newport. She is described as a tanned girl, approximately 4'9 and of a medium build with black hair just below shoulder length tied in a plait, with a nose ring piercing.

She was last seen wearing a purple blazer, grey jumper, white shirt with a purple and grey striped tie, and a grey skirt over black tights.

Gwent Police have now issued an appeal to ask for the public's help to find her. She has links to the Newport and Cardiff area.

A spokesperson for the force said: "We’re appealing for information to find 13-year-old Sara, from the Newport area who is missing.

"She was last sighted on Friday 13 March leaving an address on Lighthouse Road, Newport. Sara has links to the Newport and Cardiff area."
