Two people have tragically died following a fatal three-vehicle collision before a busy tunnel on the A3 in Hindhead that saw four others rushed to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of one of the vehicles, a man in his 20s, died at the scene while a woman and four other young men were rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A woman in her thirties, the driver of one of the vehicles, has now died following the Surrey collision Tuesday evening, March 3. Surrey Police say her family are aware and are being supported by specialist officers. Four men in their twenties who sustained serious injuries all remain in hospital.
