Donald Trump has sparked health concerns after appearing at the Shield of Americas summit he hosted in Florida. It is an event the White House described as promoting “freedom, security and prosperity” while strengthening counter‑narcotics cooperation, and was attended by leaders of a dozen Western Hemisphere nations.
Starting off his speech to try and discuss closer collaboration on security, migration, and fighting drug cartels, Trump then went on a tangent about language interpreters. He said that Secretary of State Marco Rubio "has a language advantage" over him, as he bluntly told the crowd: "Because I’m not learning your damn language. I don’t have time." Trump then explained how to tell the difference between good and bad interpreters, even though he doesn't speak the language.
He said: "I had an interpreter recently that wasn't good. Talking to a very strong person from a different part of the world - and I could tell, even though I don't speak the language - I could tell the interpreter was not good. When you go, ‘uh, uh,’ when I give a long, flowing, beautiful sentence…”
"In this case, it was a woman, and she gave it in about 1/4 the time I said. Well, their language may be efficient, but it's not that efficient."

His speech sparked health concerns about the President, as people rushed to social media to comment, with one saying: "Folks need to understand that [Trump] often looks like the crazy guy on super meth ranting on the street corner than someone just being confused. He needs to be removed, immediately."
Another raged: "Demented Donald Trump’s rambling, repetitive speech insulting a female interpreter!!! Trump out."
A third lamented: "Today is the the day Trump is the most healthy he will be (mentally and physically) for the rest of his life. It can only get worse from here."
A fourth chimed in: "Trump is blithering. He's rambling on about himself. Are MAGAteers paid to praise Trump? Are they told what to post & given money for it?" A fifth simply asked: "Is Trump okay?"
