The daughter of one of the biggest pop stars of the 90s has revealed she is working a mimum wage job while her father sells out stadiums. Billie Rae Lynch, 17, who is the daughter of Boyzone star Shane Lynch, took to social media to make light of the situation. She danced around in a clip for her 16,000 TikTok followers which she captioned: "The concept of my dad selling out 2 shows at Emirates Stadium this summer yet I’m working a minimum wage job."
While Billie Rae did not reveal what she is currently working at it is unlikely she is referring to her appearances alongside her mother Sheena, 45, in The Real Housewives of Cheshire TV series. Her younger sister Marley Mae also appeared in the show. As a member of the chart topping band, which was managed by Louis Walsh in their heyday, her father has sold over 20million records worldwide, and had a string of number one singles during his 30-year-career.
Shane, along with bandmates Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy, announced last autumn they would be taking to the Emirates Stadium stage in June for their "farewell shows."
Fellow 90s pop icons S Club and B*Witched, which includes Billie Rae's auntie's Keavy and Edele, have been announced as the support acts.
Over the years the band has had several haituses and their last album, titled Thank You And Goodnight, which co-incided with a tour, was released in 2018.
Away from the group singer Ronan forged a successful solo career and turned his hand to presenting The One Show on BBC One.
Meanwhile Keith went on to star in Coronation Street and has been performing alongside Westlife singer Brian McFadden in the group Boyzlife.
Billie-Rae's dad Shane pursued a diverse career after the group split focusing on motorsports, reality TV and acting in pantomimes.
Although Billie Rae isn't raking it in in her job, other Boyzone offspring are doing OK for themselves. Ronan's son Jack found fame on Love Island and recently returned to the shows for the All Stars edition. He also works as a DJ on an Irish radio station.
