He shared the news on Instagram writing: "Yes!!! Announcing our launch of the brand new rebuilt beautifully shiny chrome plated Queen II ALBUM. I will be there!!! Will you?!! I wish it were big place so we could invite you all... but this is very intimate – except it will hopefully connect all around the world through my live and lovely Instagram channel – on Bri-TV!!! There ARE some physical invites available but you'll have to check Queen Online for that... OK? CHEERS ALL!!! Bri."
This latest remaster follows on from the reworking of the band's debut 1973 album Queen I in October 2024.
The collector's box set of that recording featured a heavily remixed and remastered version of the album with 63 tracks, featuring the restored original album, demos, and rare live recordings.
This latest work also offers fans a chance to purchase a collector's edition featuring 5 CDs and 2 LPs.
These will include the 2026 mix of the album, plus intimate fly-on-the-wall audio of Queen in the recording studio, previously unheard outtakes and demos, live tracks and radio sessions.

Brian has been giving fans an insight into the remixing process on his social media and posted several clips from Abbey Road Studios as he worked on it.
Captioning it he penned: "A Day in my Life at ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS, London, England. We're rebuilding and remixing our QUEEN II album in Dolby Atmos – basically the kind of surround sound you hear in movie theatres.
"I've wanted to do this for the last 53 years!!! This new version will be streamed first, then released as a dedicated Blu-ray. The performances are all exactly as we played them all those years ago - in one of our most explosively creative periods - but the SOUNDS!!! – are what we always dreamed of. Get your Dolby Atmos hi-fi system now!!"
