
Multiple people have been injured after Kuwait International Airport has been the target of a drone attack, an official has confirmed. It comes after Iran launched retaliation attacks across the Middle East following strikes by US and Israeli forces earlier today (February 28).
In a statement on X, The General Authority of Civil Aviation in the stat of Kuwait confirmed a drone targeted Kuwait International Airport, leaving multiple people injured and causing damage to the passenger terminal building (T1). The full statement read: "The General Authority of Civil Aviation in the State of Kuwait stated, through its official spokesperson Mr. Abdullah Al-Rajhi, that a drone targeted Kuwait International Airport, resulting in minor injuries to a number of workers, in addition to limited material damage to the passenger building (T1).
