Prince William believes Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie should be "kept at arms length", a royal insider claims. The Prince of Wales is said to be "particularly annoyed" at the York sisters' projects in the Middle East over how these might affect relations with the rest of the Royal Family, according to the insider.
They told the Daily Mail earlier this week: "William, just back from a visit to Saudi Arabia... is beginning a long-term project to promote relations between London and Riyadh. Beatrice and Eugenie going off piste with their own projects could muddy the waters."
The insider pointed to William being angered at Beatrice's hosting a tea party in Saudi Arabia in November not long after her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor became a commoner. William reportedly saw that as epitomising a lack of self-awareness.
