Brooklyn Beckham broke the internet last month when he called out his freshly knighted parents Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham in a scathing Instagram post. He claimed his mum and dad have tried "endlessly to ruin" his relationship with his billionaire heiress wife Nicola Peltz. He didn't stop there. He accused Victoria, 51, of "hijacking" his first dance, to dancing "inappropriately on me" and then claimed the fashion designer pulled out of making Nicola's wedding dress at the "eleventh hour". There's a lot happening in 2026 and it's only February.
It didn't take long for the internet to do what it does best - hilarious memes of Victoria dancing at her eldest son's wedding started doing the rounds. Brooklyn's claims were sounding familiar to another famous couple - cue Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Social media sleuths quickly likened Brooklyn's move as an act straight out of the Sussexes playbook. Meghan and Harry stepped down as working royals in 2020 and what followed was an endless amount of tea spilling. From their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey the following year, to their six-part Netflix documentary discussing the royals in 2022 and we can't forget Harry's tell-all memoir Spare.

It was a lot.
Last year, it was reported that Harry and Meghan were "secretly supporting" Brooklyn and Nicola after experiencing their own family fallouts. The Peltz-Beckham's were said to have been invited over to their Montecito mansion for dinner just days after Brooklyn skipped his dad David's 50th birthday celebrations.
It begs the question - did the Sussexes advise Brooklyn and Nicola to go public?
It's not as if the Peltz Beckham's need to monetise their "truth". As of 2026, Brooklyn has a reported net worth of $10million (£7.4million) while his other half is significantly wealthier than she is, with an estimated net worth of $50million (£37million) - not to forget her dad is a billionaire, while Brooklyn's parents are also extremely wealthy.

What will the Peltz Beckham's really gain from airing their dirty laundry?
Nicola has carved out a name for herself as an actress Brooklyn continues to embark on a career as a chef.
But if the couple follow in the footsteps of the Sussexes and cash in, the public need to brace themselves for the wearingly endless amounts of book deals, sit down interviews, documentaries and more.
There have already been three documentaries covering the Beckham feud including Channel 4's Family at War, Channel 5's The Beckham Feud and the BBC's Inside the Beckham Feud alongside the copious amounts of YouTubers diving into the drama to endless TikTok reels.

While Brooklyn and Nicola had no direct involvement in the coverage, the former's statement sparked all of this coverage and the public are tired. I don't think we can take it anymore. These are issues outside of my tax bracket. Two wealthy men lashing out at their uber rich familes is nothing new under the sun.
It's always sad to hear families are torn apart but can we just get back to solving problems in house. David and Victoria appear to be channeling the Firm's PR methods, 'never complain, never explain'. They've not addressed Brooklyn's allegations publicly and I'm grateful.
It would be great to see the Sussexes and the Peltz Beckham's reconcile with their loved ones. They should all try picking up the phone and settling their differences privately. We are now in a world where everyone is far too comfortable bashing people in public. Speak to each other or never communicate with your family again but stop torturing the rest of us.
