Drivers on a major motorway faced long delays as four out of four lanes were shut down on Tuesday morning. All lanes were shut on the M25 anticlockwise between junctions J28 and J27.
National Highways said the traffic issue had been prompted by an accident involving a vehicle that has the carriageway. The entry slip at junctions J28 was also shut down, they added.
