Paloma Faith shared a post to her TikTok followers showing a fake gender reveal where she declared her baby will decide their own gender. In a mocking tone, the Traitors star said, while holding a pink and blue balloon: "It's my gender reveal post, is it gonna be a boy, or is it gonna be a girl? I want all of you to know!" She then let the balloons go into the air and said deadpan: "Does it really matter? It's 2026. Do we even give a s**t about gender anymore?"
She then raged: "It'll be whatever it wants to be when it's old enough to decide its own identity." She then told her followers that if they aren't offended by the post then they are "cool" and should come to her show. However, an influx of people who viewed the post were enraged as she called people "transphobic, homophobic p****s".
Her followers rushed to the comments to weigh in, with one user writing: "And just like that I stopped supporting her." Another wrote: "Lost me there."
Others shared their support and told her that everyone "needs a parent like Paloma". But as the video continued to gain more traction, people soon took to sharing it on X along with their thoughts, as one user wrote: "Paloma Faith is PATHETIC. Saying she's not doing a gender reveal for her baby, and that the child will decide its own gender when it's old enough."
Another replied in the comments and said the baby was a "political pawn" and "accessory", while another wrote: "Using an unborn child for political gain is just too much."

A third fumed: "I feel sorry for that child already - will be raised as a "statement" for her to virtue signal with, instead of just being allowed to be a child."
Support did flood in as well on Paloma's original post, with one person saying it was their "favourite gender reveal post ever", and another writing: "Iconic behaviour". However, her post certainly divided viewers overall.
The singer announced that she was pregnant with her third child in October last year, previously admitting concerns as she wrote on Instagram: "Pregnancy at 44. Ngl that's a bit worrying but I'm trying to pretend to myself I'm calm so that eventually comes true. I couldn't be more happy about another baby and I'm bracing myself for the storm..."
