Hairy Biker Si King has revealed he continues to speak to his late co-star Dave Myers nearly two years following his death. Dave tragically died in February 2024, aged 66, after a cancer battle, with Si sharing a heartfelt Instagram tribute at the time: "I will miss him every day and the bond and friendship we shared over half a lifetime."
He has now disclosed that he maintains conversations with Dave - including the occasional expletive. Si spoke candidly on ITV's Good Morning Britain on Thursday (February 12) during a discussion about care costs. After the programme aired footage of the Hairy Bikers together, host Richard Madeley observed: "You see clips like that and you just can't believe he's not with us anymore," reports the Mirror. "No, it's, it's... neither can I," Si responded.

When questioned whether he still speaks to Dave, he confirmed: "All the time. Yeah, shout at him, swear at him, all of that.
"I mean, you know, it's interesting isn't it? Because just, he doesn't stop being your best mate just because he's not with us anymore, you know?"
Richard enquired whether the star held beliefs about reuniting after death, to which Si answered: "I do. I think that there is a spirit there that is left, you know, it's not, I don't know, what is it, eight and a half ounces, the soul?"
"Yeah, I mean, I'd like to think that. Definitely, there are plenty of religions in the world that do."
Richard's co-host Kate Garraway - who lost her husband Derek Draper in 2024 - reflected: "And lovely to think that love and that joy and that fun continues on, doesn't it? That's what we all want to believe in, whatever form we choose to believe it in, because it doesn't go away."

Dave, renowned for numerous television programmes and publications alongside Si, revealed his diagnosis in May 2022.
In February 2024, Si shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, writing: "Last night, on 28th February 2024, with Lili, Dave's wife, his family, close friend David and myself by his side, he passed away peacefully at home."
He continued: "Personally, I am not sure I can put into words on how I feel at the moment," adding: "My best friend is on a journey that for now, I can't follow. I will miss him every day and the bond and friendship we shared over half a lifetime. I wish you god's speed brother; you are and will remain a beacon in this world. See you on the other side. Love ya."
