Jeremy Clarkson weighed in on the scandal surrounding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Bombshell photos were released of the former Duke of York by the US Department of Justice (DOJ). In two of the pictures, Andrew can be seen kneeling over an unidentified woman. One photo, the former prince is seen touching the person, who is fully clothed, on her stomach. Another image shows him staring directly at the camera. Andrew has strongly denied any wrongdoing.

In a devastating blow to the royals, the Clarkson's Farm star, 65, reacted to the fallout as he questioned Andrew "befriending" a paedophile as he recalled a moment with the prince. Writing in his latest column for The Sun, the presenter shared a four-word reaction after the Epstein files dropped, where he claimed this is "what I think is weird".

"Many years ago, the man now known as Mr Mountbatten-Windsor was a dashing prince and a war hero," Jeremy began.

"I used to see him at various events, and he was invariably being chatted up by a gaggle of impossibly beautiful girls who were longing for an invite back to the Palace."

He questioned: "So why did he feel the need to befriend a paedo and then get him to ship girls over from America?"

The columnist suggested it's could be more bad news for the royal.

He concluded: "It’s odd and it makes me think there’s a lot more to the story than we think."

Meanwhile, an email seemingly from Ghislaine Maxwell appears to confirm that a photograph of Andrew with his arm around Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexual abuse, is real.

The former prince, who has always denied any wrongdoing, has previously questioned whether the picture had been doctored and claimed he had never met Giuffre.

But in a message, released as part of the latest batch of the Epstein files, headed "draft statement" sent by a "G Maxwell" to Jeffrey Epstein in 2015, she wrote: "In 2001 I was in London when [redacted] met a number of friends of mine including Prince Andrew. A photograph was taken as I imagine she wanted to show it to friends and family."

The family of Giuffre, who died in 2025, told the BBC's Newsnight that the email showed she had been "vindicated".
