Katie Price and Peter Andre have released a surprising joint statement following the former glamour model's marriage to Lee Andrews. The ex-couple, who were wed for four years before parting ways in 2009, share two children together, Junior and Princess. Their romance blossomed years ago on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here. Yet since their acrimonious split, the pair have been embroiled in a hostile exchange of words, frequently aired on social media. The duo have now jointly declared they are drawing a line under their turbulent history, pledging never to discuss each other publicly again - or face breaching a new legal agreement.

Both shared on Instagram: "Katie Price and Peter Andre have decided to close the door on the past and move forward into a new chapter with positivity and respect. We are both focused on creating a calm and supportive environment for our children. We have reached a mutual agreement, both legally and personally confirming that neither of us will speak negatively about the other going forward. This decision reflects a shared commitment to our family and stability", reports the Mirror.

The statement added: "We want to stand united for our children. We are hoping this is a start of a positive relationship. We ask for understanding and support from both the media and the public as we move ahead."

The development follows a heated exchange on Katie's weekly podcast, where she accused her ex-husband of preventing her from seeing their daughter Princess during the launch of her own reality TV show.

This isn't the first time the former couple has publicly clashed. Two years post-divorce, Katie was compelled to publicly apologise to Peter for falsely accusing him of infidelity during their four-year marriage.

She agreed to pay "substantial" damages, which, according to Peter's solicitor, would be placed in a trust fund for Harvey Price.

Katie also took a jab at Peter's wife Emily, claiming in 2024 that she made her famous. In 2025, their youngest daughter, Princess Andre, landed her own reality show, with Peter featuring prominently and Katie noticeably absent.

Katie alleged that she was barred from participating in the reality show, an assertion Princess refuted, stating: "The show is not actually about any of my parents. It is about me."

Katie then expressed feeling "very disrespected" as a mother by the move. She continued: "But now she's managing Princess and Junior, out of my control, I want the best for Junior and Princess, always, and I will never get in the way of it. But what hurts my feelings – and it does upset me – is when your kids grow up, you go to their assemblies, you go to their Christmas things, you go to their awards, you know, you go to their football matches or their gymnastics, you're involved in everything they do.

"And knowing that what my career has been, Princess is taking that same path – trying to do the same as what I've done – which I absolutely love and adore of Princess but I had not been allowed to go on any photoshoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I'm not allowed and I'm not welcome."

Subsequently, Peter issued a shocking statement, where he penned: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today. The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight.

"For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.

"In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months."

In response to his statement, Katie's spokesperson later released a statement: "Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation. This was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit-for-tat comments, but more importantly, she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers' hands. Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was.."
