Nicola Peltz's father Nelson has publicly addressed the Beckham feud for the first time. Last month, Nelson's son-in-law Brooklyn Beckham, 26, took to Instagram with a scathing six-page statement, declaring he does not want to reconcile with his parents, David, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51, and accused them of trying to ruin his relationship with Nicola. He also claimed his parents tried to bribe him into signing away the rights to his name and claimed Victoria danced on him "inappropriately" at his 2022 wedding to Nicola, 31.

Nelson, 83, has now broken his silence on the feud, describing both Nicola and Brooklyn with one simple word: "Great". He briefly discussed the family drama at a Q&A at WSJD's Invest Live in West Palm Beach on Tuesday. The business magnate said: "My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story and that's not for coverage here today. But I'll tell you my daughter is great, my son-in-law Brooklyn is great and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together."

Asked if gives the couple advice on how to navigate difficult situations, Nelson responded: "I do. Sometimes they give me advice."

Nelson has a net worth of $1.6 billion, while David and Victoria have a combined fortune of around $680 million. It was recently reported that Nicola receives a $1 million monthly allowance from her billionaire father.

The bombshell claim came from Marina Hyde, who explained that Brooklyn also received financial support from his parents, but at a significantly lower level.

"From what I hear I think the Beckhams give Brooklyn a lot of money but not insane money and they have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent," she said on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast. "Maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this but I hear that he said to them that 'I give my daughter a million dollar a month allowance.'"

This followed Brooklyn's claim that his parents have repeatedly planted lies in the media, writing: "For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.

"The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I’ve seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out."

He added: "My parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed."
