Strictly Come Dancing winner Jowita Przystał has admitted the BBC show "won't be the same" without longtime hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, who left in December. The Polish dancer, who donned a sultry all-black outfit for the TV Choice Awards tonight in London, exclusively opened up to Express.co.uk about Strictly changing. The 31-year-old shared: "When I joined the show, it was already Tess and Claudia, so to have someone else there will be different, but good, I think changes are necessary. I'm a big fan of Tess and Claudia, and I just wish them all the best for whatever the upcoming things are in their lives, and yeah, I will always be a number one fan."
While their replacements are yet to be announced, Jowita was asked if there's anyone she'd like to see host the show going forward.
She explained: "To be honest with you, I think it will be very stressful for whoever is going to take that job because they are big shoes to fill, but no matter who it's going to be, we're going to welcome them."
Jowita was insistent on making whoever joins the show as a presenter "part of our family".
However, she cryptically shared: "Something will change, I think. And it won't be the same, of course."
She added: "But I do believe, like, because it's going to be different, it doesn't mean it's going to be worse or better, it's just gonna be different.
"And anyway, Strictly is all about that love to dance, and you know about a beautiful connection between people. And I think this is going to stay no matter who's going to host, no matter who's going to judge, no matter who's going to be a professional dancer there, the idea of the show is still the same, so I think, I hope that the people and viewers will stay with us and maybe we're going to gain more, who knows."
