A fresh line-up of celebrities are poised to join Claudia Winkleman for the new series of The Celebrity Traitors.

The legendary game show makes its much-anticipated return to BBC One tonight (October 8), with 19 famous faces ready to take on the roles of Faithfuls and Traitors.

Just like the civilian version, this spin-off also boasts a hefty prize pot of up to £100,000. However, instead of pocketing the winnings, the victor will donate the entire amount to a charity of their choice and walk away with the coveted title.

Among the mystery enthusiasts is 25-year-old Catrina 'Cat' Burns, who some viewers may instantly recognise.

If her name doesn't immediately strike a chord, here's everything you need to know about the BRIT Award-nominated sensation, reports the Daily Record.

Born in London, Cat Burns has been producing music since 2016, when she was just 16 years old. However, she didn't hit the mainstream until 2022.

Her 2020 single 'Go' went viral on TikTok two years after its initial release, propelling Cat into the limelight. The song climbed to number two on the UK singles charts that summer, landing just below Harry Styles' smash hit 'As it Was'.

Following her sudden rise to fame, the BRIT School alum secured three BRIT Award nominations for 'Go', including a nod for Song of the Year.

Despite only gaining recognition three years ago, the Gen Z singer has already collaborated with Oscar-winner Sam Smith.

In 2024, she released her debut studio album 'Early Twenties' and is now gearing up to launch her second project 'How to Be Human' on 31st October.

Cat has reportedly been in a relationship with Jodie Rockett since 2021, with the couple often posting pictures together on social media.

In 2022, Cat disclosed that her partner, presumably Jodie, frequently serves as inspiration for her songwriting.

Speaking to Attitude magazine, she said: "My partner's one of my main muses. I've written many a love song since being with her. She's always, like, 'When are the love songs coming out? !' In good time! Plus, my family, friends, career, and life. People I experience. As long as I'm living, I have things to write about."

A romantic track dedicated to her girlfriend, fittingly named Jodie, was included in Cat's initial project. The chorus goes:

"Your love goes rings around the sun
Although they try to slow it down, like a river, it still runs
Oh I, oh I, will put your mind at ease
When the nights go cold, your heart is safe with me."

The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One and iPlayer at 9pm tonight, with two episodes airing each week on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
