A collision on the M62 caused huge delays this morning. Traffic was held on the eastbound side of the motorway from junction 22 for Rishworth Moor to junction 23 for Huddersfield after an accident.
Two lanes were shut off on the westbound side of the motorway before later being opened. National Highways said in a statement: "Collision has been cleared to the hard shoulder and all lanes are open on the M62 in both directions between J22 Denshaw and J23 Huddersfield. Delays in excess of 1 hour in both directions. Please allow time for the delays to ease."
