I've had the privilege of unveiling and reviewing countless stunning beauty Advent calendars over the years, but this one has perhaps impressed me the most this year, both in terms of value for money and the carefully selected contents inside.

Following last year's sell-out success, celebrity makeup artist Hannah Martin – who includes Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie among her clients – has collaborated with OK! Beauty Box once again to create her very own Advent calendar for 2025, filled with all her top choices.

While many beauty advent calendars can cost you hundreds of pounds, this one is priced at £99, ideal if you're searching for one under £100 – something that's not so easy to find these days. However, the products inside are worth over £600 in total, reports the Mirror.

The calendar went on early pre-order last month and promptly sold out within hours, but shoppers have a chance to get one – and I reckon it's going to be snapped up quickly again, reports OK!

Despite also working for OK! Magazine and having a sneak peek at some aspects of this advent calendar before its launch, I only recently had the chance to see it in all its splendour – and opening the box genuinely took my breath away. It exudes luxury and feels high-end – appearing more expensive than its £99 price tag – and I'm smitten with this year's red and pink design, featuring open-out doors and drawers labelled with a trendy mix of words and numbers.

But what truly steals the show is what's tucked inside. There are 30 products in total, with an impressive 19 of these being full-size.

Devotees of Hannah – or beauty enthusiasts in general – will instantly recognise that it's a compilation of some of her favourite brands and products, items that she (and many other makeup artists) has used and praised over the years; products such as Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder and Hildun Silk to Set Kajal Liner. It's akin to having a professional makeup artist's kit in your own home – and for a fraction of the cost.

For those who can't resist knowing what's inside, below is a comprehensive list of everything included, plus a voucher to redeem for four copies of OK! Magazine, worth £18.40.

There are numerous other features that distinguish it from its competitors. There's a wealth of enjoyable and straightforward supplementary content from Hannah to accompany this calendar, including tutorials on how to utilise some of the products, and one fortunate shopper will also win a one-to-one virtual masterclass with Hannah herself.

I also valued that drawers 1 and 25 house two of the largest and most valuable products – a delightful way to commence and conclude your advent calendar journey.

If I were forced to identify one drawback to this calendar, I would suggest that you probably won't get many years of reuse out of it as, while the outer box is extremely robust, the inner drawers are somewhat fragile.

Hannah's calendar is likely most akin to Lookfantastic's 2025 one, which is priced at £105, is worth over £655 and contains 28 products. However, I genuinely believe that OK! Beauty Box's is a more thoughtful selection of products (and slightly cheaper).

ASOS's is also around the £100 mark, at £98. Featuring brands such as Laneige, KIKO Milano and The Inkey List, I think this would appeal to a slightly younger recipient.
