The weather agency's maps, aided by Metdesk data, predict temperatures of up to 19C on October 12.
According to the forecast, the warmest conditions will be seen in southeast of England in London and counties including Kent, Sussex, and Dorset.
Most of England will enjoy temperatures of at least 17C, with only Cumbria and Northumberland dropping lower to 15C.
Scotland is expected to see temperatures of between 14C and 16C throughout, while Wales and Northern Ireland are expected to see conditions of between 16C and 17C.
The Met Office's forecast for October 8 - October 17 predicts mild conditions to begin with, before spells of rain and drizzle in mostly northern and western areas.
The service adds that the east of the country will enjoy drier conditions.
The Met Office adds: "By the weekend (11/12 October), there is a signal for pressure to build from the west or southwest of the UK, this means mostly lighter winds and settled for the bulk of the UK with only a risk of wet and at times windy weather for the north or east at the weekend."
As for the second half of October, the service forecasts more unsettled conditions, either in the form of "successive depressions moving in from the Atlantic or a rather slower evolving weather pattern."
This will mean more rain and showers, and stronger winds for much of the latter half of October and heading into November.
