M&S has got shoppers excited about the new arrivals since they launched a campaign to celebrate the return of their online shopping service. As the temperature gets colder, shoppers have been rushing to purchase a jacket that one has described as 'perfect for keeping warm in the autumnal weather'.

The Thermowarmth Hooded Puffer Jacket - available in four earthy tones including Spice, Black, Light Natural and Midnight Navy -is ranked second bestseller in the category of coats and jackets, and more than 100 jackets have been sold in the last five days. This coat is available in UK sizes 6-24, and costs £46. It's already flying off the shelves in the black and spice versions, with some sizes already sold out.

Shoppers mention it 'fits a little big' on the M&S website, so it's worth considering when fashion lovers select their preferred size. The jacket features Thermowarmth insulation to help keep the wearer cosy in cold weather, while the design also includes a hooded funnel neck and fleece-lined pockets.

Moreover, the multi-purpose jacket is also perfect for showers thanks to Stormwear technology that provides protection against sudden downpours, reported Devon Live. When it comes to practicality, the jacket also has an inside pocket, a feature seen as a safety precaution against phone snatchers and pickpockets.

A customer commented: "Fabulous jacket, lovely and warm. Deep pockets that fasten with a popper and the inside zipped pocket is great for phone, keys. Ideal for my daily dog walks."

Meanwhile at M&S, the Thermowarmth Hooded Puffer Jacket enjoys an almost flawless average score of 4.8 out of five stars.

One shopper shared: "Good length for wearing with wide leg jeans/trousers. I think it comes up a bit big though. I vary between 14/16 and initially I ordered a size 14 but that was too roomy all over and as it has no drawstrings it was far too big at the bottom. I then ordered a size 12 and that’s a perfect fit - still room to wear a warmish jumper underneath when it gets colder."

Another also agreed that the jacket 'runs a bit large', adding: "This is a lovely jacket. It feels nice and the pockets are fleece lined. The short style means it’s great with wide trousers as well as skirts and it’ll be a good option through the colder months. I took the white but it does feel like it will wash well. It is a puffer jacket and even in a size 6 it is quite puffy on a small frame. Pockets are fairly small but then on a short jacket there is a limit to how deep they can be."

It's important to highlight that whilst the M&S coat doesn't receive any negative feedback on the store's website, one buyer did mention: "Lovely coat, my daughter liked it. Comes up super oversized. Had to go down a size and there's still plenty of room in it."
