Zara Tindall was out celebrating with her husband Mike after the Red Roses won the Women's Rugby World Cup. England's women's rugby team beat Canada 33-13 in a dominant display, watched by a record 81,885 people who filled the sold-out Allianz Stadium in Twickenham on Saturday.
Zara attended the final between England and Canada alongside Mike, who took to social media to congratulate England's stars. The Princess of Wales, who is patron of the Rugby Football Union, did not attend the final.
In the post uploaded by former rugby pro Mike, the couple can be seen beaming in front of the Stadium, with Zara holding a plastic cup of a yellow-coloured drink.
Mike captioned his post: "What a day!! Massive congrats to @redrosesrugby, what a win. Amazing atmosphere, thanks to @howdeninsurance for having us! There will be some sore heads in the morning! #womensrwc2025 #champions #englandrugby".
Princess Kate congratulated the Red Roses for their triumphant victory despite not being able to attend the match.
In a message shared with Prince William on social media, she wrote: "Congratulations to RedRosesRugby, the new Women's Rugby World Cup Champions! Well done to Canada - you had an outstanding tournament. Both teams should be so proud!"
Earlier, she sent a personal message to England women's rugby team, saying: "Good luck England! Wishing the very best of luck to the Red Roses in their Women's Rugby World Cup final at Twickenham today. We're so proud of you!"
The Red Roses scored five tries to help clinch the title.
Four of England's five tries were supplied by the forwards, including two for number eight Alex Matthews, and there was the familiar sight of their scrum and maul grinding the opposition into submission.
On Sunday, jubilant scenes unfolded at London's Battersea Power Station as the players lifted their gleaming gold trophy on the building's balcony in front of hundreds of supporters.
Fans cheered and danced to the anthem of Gala Rizzatto's Freed From Desire wearing England tops, red cowboy hats and waving foam fingers to celebrate the Red Roses' win.
