Harper Beckham has officially joined Instagram. The youngest child of David and Victoria Beckham launched her social media profile on Friday, marking a major step into the spotlight. The 14-year-old's Instagram bio reads “Yours truly,” and “Your fav blonde,” and lists her location as London, Los Angeles, and Miami — the three cities where the Beckhams own lavish homes.
The teenager’s account is currently set to private, but she is already followed by a number of recognisable names. Her two brothers, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, have clicked the follow button, as have her famous parents. Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 30, has also followed Harper on the platform. But two notable names who are yet to show their support are Harper's eldest brother Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30.
While the Beckham's are reportedly embroiled in a deep family feud, the apparent snub could simply be due to Brooklyn and Nicola living in the US and not yet having seen the account.
Harper's posts won't be seen by the rest of the world unless she decides to make her account public, a source close to the family told MailOnline.
Since the Beckhams joined Instagram over a decade ago, they have not allowed Harper to create her own personal account. However, she has frequently appeared on their profiles and is often tagged using the hashtag #Harper7.
In 2022, Victoria, 51, admitted she was "terrified" at the thought of her daughter joining social media.
"Harper isn't on social media, so we don't have to worry about that just yet," she told Vogue Australia. "But seeing how cruel people can be, yes, it really does [concern me]."
"She's at that age where her body is going to start changing, but it's about making sure that we communicate a lot as a family, and she surrounds herself with nice friends."
The fashion designer added: "But it is quite terrifying, I can't lie."
Harper’s big move comes just two weeks before the release of Victoria's Netflix documentary, which promises fans a behind-the-scenes look at her life and career.
Reports suggest that all four of the Beckham children will be included in the new series. However, Brooklyn's appearance is likely because production on the documentary reportedly began last summer, before rumours of a rift between the aspiring chef and his family reached boiling point.
