Joining British Vogue’s London Fashion Week bash at The Savoy on Sunday (September 21), the Love Island host declared her love for the fashion trend that’s taking the showbiz world by storm.

Celebrities have been swapping out the bold and beautiful opaque frocks for something a little more sultry as inspiration from Kate Moss’ 1993 “naked dress” has surged. The Love Island host is just the latest to opt for the barely-there ensemble as she celebrated LFW the way she knows best – her statement piece.

Maya, 31, beamed as she walked into the glamorous bash in a daring see-through number which stuck to her figure with a V-neck plunge and a criss-cross back.

In true sheer dress fashion, Maya matched her underwear to the garment so it all merged into one glamorous piece as stripes covered her from the shoulder to the shin.

Feathers then sprouted around Maya’s ankles in a statement piece as she added some black heels to complete the look. The ITV2 alum sported bouncy curls as she flashed a smile and headed into the lavish party.

Sheer dresses are definitely becoming a go-to for celebrities looking to make their mark on the red carpet in recent weeks, with Margot Robbie heading up her premiere of A Big Bold Beautiful Journey in a show-stopping transparent dress covered with gems from head-to-toe.

The gown quickly turned heads as people praised her for “coming back more gorgeous than ever” as she appeared at the premiere for her first film since giving birth in October 2024.

Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghouri also joined in on the naked dress trend, also opting for a 90% sheer gown as she walked the red carpet at the National Television Awards last week.
