Kaleb Cooper has made his true feelings clear about Jeremy Clarkson, after making a string of light-hearted digs at his Clarkson’s Farm co-star. Since 2021, the hit Prime Video series has followed Jeremy’s often chaotic journey into farming - with Kaleb firmly by his side.

Known for his blunt honesty and quick-witted banter, the 27-year-old has become a breakout star in his own right, as his three million Instagram followers prove.

Despite forging a successful career path of his own and gaining new fame however, Kaleb insists he has no plans to leave the farm.

In a new interview, he showed a softer side to him when opening up about his friendship with Jeremy.

“I love the bloke to pieces. Whenever I have a problem or need some advice, I simply go and sit down with him,” he said.

“I hope that I teach him a little bit about farming, but he teaches me so much. When I went on tour, he told me about his Top Gear days with live audiences, so I’ve got a great mentor.

"Jeremy’s been around the world. He’s done all the TV. He’s great at making TV.”

Kaleb went on to share what he had discovered about his co-star over the years, adding: “Watching that bloke’s brain work is unbelievable - it’s honestly mind-blowing.”

In true Kaleb style however, he couldn’t resist a cheeky dig when asked if he sees Jeremy as a father figure.

“I would say granddad probably,” he joked to The Western Mail newspaper.

It’s not the first time Kaleb has poked fun at his co-star. In his children’s book Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales: Escaping Animals and Runaway Tractors, he described Jeremy as “the worst farmer” he’s ever seen — though conceded that he was “quite a good pig farmer".

He also recently left Heart Radio presenters stunned when asked why he named the runt of a pig litter Jeremy, in his new book.

Speaking on Heart Radio, Kaleb quipped: “I don’t know really, I just thought it was a great name. It sums up… you know, every Jeremy is always a little bit of a runt.”

Kaleb’s sharp humour has made him a fan favourite, with many viewers calling for him to front his own show. One fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Hahaha Kaleb off this Jeremy Clarkson farms needs his own show, he’s funny him.”

Another added: "Literally love this show. Shows a whole new light on farming — hilarious. Kaleb should have his own show, he’s so funny, keep them coming Jeremy.”

A third suggested: "Give Kaleb and Jeremy their own show where Jeremy travels around the world with Kaleb!! Love the double act!”

The popularity of Clarkson’s Farm was proven at the recent National Television Awards, where it won Best Factual Entertainment. Accepting the award, Jeremy praised the farming team for their hard work, sharing on stage: “We’re genuinely thrilled. And equally, there are those of us who farm here and we’ve scrubbed up so well you wouldn’t know it.

"But there are farmers — Kaleb, Harriet, Charlie, and Gerald who isn’t here — who work incredibly hard. I mean, way harder than anyone in this room. And I do mean that.”
