Kaleb Cooper left Heart Radio presenters lost for words on air this morning, after he took a savage swipe at Jeremy Clarkson. The Clarkson's Farm star is currently in London to promote his brand new children's book Kaleb's Farmyard Tales: Escaping Animals and Runaway Tractors, following the show's recent win at The National Television Awards.
In a discussion about his fourth novel, host Jamie Theakston brought up that there is "a runt of the pig litter" in his book named Jeremy.
He proceeded to ask sarcastically: "Where did you come up with that name?", to which Kaleb replied: "I dunno really, I just thought it was a great name.
"It sums up it's, erm, you know every Jeremy is always a little bit of a runt," he added.
As the presenters laughed through shock, Kaleb quickly apologised to those named Jeremy, adding: "I'm sure you're lovely."
It's not the first time the 27-year-old has taken a light-hearted swipe at his co-star.
In his book, the farmhand also made a dig at the ITV presenter's farming abilities.
While discussing chickens on the farm, he wrote: "Anyway, the point is, chickens are generally pretty easy – even my friend Jeremy can handle chickens, and he’s the WORST farmer I’ve ever seen."
Kaleb shared slightly more kinder words about his co-star when he got onto the topic of pigs.
"My friend Jeremy is actually quite a good pig farmer. Don’t tell him I said that," he added.
Kaleb rose to fame on the award-winning series Clarkson's Farm, which began back in 2021.
As Jeremy’s farmhand, he swiftly became a breakout star thanks to his blunt honesty, expertise, and humorous exchanges with the presenter.
Since then, he has forged a career of his own and has gained a staggering three million followers on Instagram.
Previously discussing his newfound fame, he admitted that he turned to Jeremy for advice.
He told The Sunday Times: “Six months into it, the director said to me, ‘Kaleb, you’re gonna be a massive celebrity.’ The day after it came out, I gained a million followers on Instagram.
"I went to Jeremy, ‘What do I do?’ He went, ‘Kaleb, you’ve got two options. You go out there and make all the money you can, and you fall off the face of the earth in five years’ time, or you go for longevity'."
Choosing the latter option, the farmer received a warning from Jeremy.
Kaleb recalled: “He said, ‘Right, OK, then you’ve got to be really careful what you do and what you don’t do'.
“So when someone says, ‘Do you want to do an advert for a brand, the money’s great,’ I think, ‘Probably not. I’d rather go sit on the tractor, actually'."
