Debenhams customers have discovered a big discount on a watch that "looks expensive". The Stührling Sniper Classic Aviator is reduced from £725, down to £81, an 89% saving. 

The watch is available in three colours – navy, black or silver – and all are reduced to the same price. 

With an unusual silver-tone casing, it has a 42mm face, offers waterproof protection to 165 feet, and comes with a rubber strap.

At Debenhams, the vast majority of shoppers who have purchased the Stührling watch have given it an excellent rating.

Its total score stands at 4.4 out of five, based on 26 customer reviews.

One buyer commented: "Really nice looking watch and strap. Looks expensive and is definitely good value. I like to have watches that are different looking and this is. Arrived in a presentable box so would be good as a gift as well."

Another shopper emphasised that the timepiece makes a good present, saying: "Awesome watch that my wife got me for my birthday, different but top quality watch but without the huge price tag."

A third reviewer said: "This watch is brilliant. A really stylish, well made watch. Suitable to wear casually or stylishly on a night out. Well made, looks smart, great quality."

Not all buyers favour the rubber strap, with review feedback suggesting alternative choices would be welcomed.

One customer commented: "Nice looking watch, but I think that if the same model came with a blue leather wristband, more will sell. I certainly would have rather purchased one with a leather or metal strap."
